Hasbro Gameland
I was asked to convert an empty room at the Springfield Museums into a permanent exhibit celebrating the history of boardgames and Springfield Massachusetts. Sponsored by Hasbro, I designed and concepted the roughly 1700 sq. ft. space to look and feel like an oversized boardgame. Challenge areas include physical, electro-mechanical and audiovisual interactives for a wide range of ages. The room also includes a visual timeline that shares the story of Milton Bradley’s relationship with the city of Springfield. I collaborated with architect Dorrie brooks for her audio-visual expertise and we worked with and oversaw all fabrication by 5 Wits, Inc.
